Isiah Jones

Isiah Jones has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity, with a focus on industrial control systems (ICS), operational technology (OT), and critical infrastructure. Isiah started their career in 2014 at Risk Mitigation Consulting, Inc., where they worked as a Cybersecurity Specialist III & IV, specializing in securing and assessing various types of ICS/OT systems. Isiah also provided expertise to ICS/OT vendors and asset owners as a consultant and Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE).

In 2016, Isiah joined the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Office of Energy Infrastructure Security (OEIS) as an IT Specialist (INFOSEC), where they analyzed policies and practices related to the cyber-security of US energy infrastructure and conducted special studies and analyses. Isiah also championed OT device and systems security and innovation.

Isiah then held roles at Fortress Information Security as the Director of OT Security Solutions and at LEO Cyber Security as the VP, Global ICS Security Service Delivery. In these positions, they focused on delivering next-generation capabilities for risk management, vulnerability and threat management, and central governance platform development.

Further in their career, Isiah worked at ThreatGEN as an Advisory Board Member, providing expertise on red team blue team and virtual reality simulation-based critical infrastructure digital twin cyber range technology. Isiah also worked at Closedloop Communications Inc as a Control Systems Cybersecurity SME.

More recently, Isiah worked at Resilience as a Principal Security Engineer ICS Security Integrator, where they contributed to the development and implementation of security measures for industrial control systems. Currently, they are working at Applied Integrated Technologies, Inc as a Cyber Engineer ICS OT IIoT IoT.

Throughout their career, Isiah has demonstrated a strong commitment to keeping critical infrastructures safe, resilient, reliable, and secure.

Isiah Jones has a strong educational background in the field of information technology and security. Isiah obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State University, specializing in the Integration & Application option. Isiah completed their undergraduate studies from 2003 to 2007. Following their bachelor's degree, Isiah furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Professional Studies degree in Homeland Security, with a focus on Information Security and Forensics, from Penn State University. Isiah completed their master's degree from 2010 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Isiah has also obtained several certifications. These include "Penetration Testing Active Directory" and the "CompTIA PenTest+ (PT0-001)" series from LinkedIn. Isiah obtained these certifications in July and August of 2022, respectively. Isiah has also completed various online courses on LinkedIn, covering topics such as LGBTQ+ employee support, business writing principles, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, security operations management, Python-based pen testing on AWS, unconscious bias, negotiation skills, writing business cases, and the fundamentals of AWS security administration.

It is worth noting that Isiah attended the John C. Maxwell Executive Master Mind 21 Laws of Leadership Bootcamp in 2015, although it is not mentioned whether they received a degree or certificate from this program. Lastly, Isiah completed their secondary education at Harrisburg High School from 1999 to 2003.
