Azum N.

Azum N. is a software engineer with extensive experience in machine learning and behavior prediction across multiple companies. Currently employed at Applied Intuition since April 2025, Azum applies machine learning techniques to enhance software functionalities. Prior to this role, Azum worked at Gatik from October 2023 to January 2025, focusing on behavior and prediction machine learning. Azum also contributed to Embark Trucks from September 2021 to August 2022, where responsibilities included behavior planning and prediction as both a software engineer and machine learning engineer. Additionally, Azum served as the software lead for the University of Waterloo Robotics Design Team from March 2020 to April 2022, designing the ROS software architecture for a Mars Rover Robot and mentoring a team during the development of critical code. Azum holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
