Kishan Chaitanya

Kishan Chaitanya has worked in the software engineering field since 2011. Kishan began their career at Tata Consultancy Services as a Software Engineer, where they provided development operations leadership and conducted end-to-end testing. In 2014, they joined IBM as a Staff Software Engineer, where they provided essentialist-oriented agility training and managed, coached, and mentored individuals towards success. In 2018, Kishan moved to Branch as a QA Lead, where they managed a team of 7 quality engineers and introduced various testing. In 2019, they joined Earnest Inc. as an Engineering Manager, Quality, where they led and mentored a team of 15 quality assurance engineers. Most recently, in 2022, Kishan joined Applied Intuition as an Engineering, where they provide software tools and infrastructure for safely developing, testing, and deploying autonomous vehicles at scale.

Kishan Chaitanya completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Anna University in 2011. Kishan then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from San Jose State University, which they completed in 2015. In 2021, they completed a Designing Your Career certification from Stanford University. In 2020, they completed a Becoming a Leader: Developing Your Style and Making Sound Decisions certification from Harvard University, as well as an Architecting on AWS certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Kishan also holds certifications from IBM in DB2 9 Fundamentals and DB2 9 for Linux, UNIX and Windows, and from Microsoft in MS.NET Framework 2.0 - Application Development Foundation and MS.NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Application Development. In 2020, they also completed an Engineering Manager Boot Camp from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
