Pamela Reid has extensive work experience, beginning with their role as a Freelance Illustrator for their own business, Pam Reid Illustration, in 1993. From 1998 to 2010, they worked as a User Interface Designer and Graphic Designer (Technical Support Engineer II) for the Raytheon Company. In 2010, they took on a Design Intern role at the Center for Applied Special Technology, where they created art assets for the Building Comprehension Through Social Understanding curriculum. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Web Developer for Turbine | Warner Bros Games, where they built Drupal themes, provided UX consultation, scripted HTML/CSS and Javascript/jQuery, and created art assets. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Software Developer for GrabCAD. Finally, from 2013 to 2014, they worked as a UI Developer for Applied Minds, where they wireframed UX and devised data visualizations for an agriculture analytics application and coded features using AngularJS, D3, and HTML/CSS.

Pamela Reid attended Washington University in St. Louis from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) in Graphic Communication. Pamela then attended Harvard University from 2007 to 2013, where they earned a Certificate of Applied Sciences (C.A.S) in Software Engineering.
