Joel H. has over 10 years of professional experience in a variety of roles. Joel began their career in 2009 as a Third Party Inspector for Engineering Consulting Services, Mid-Atlantic, LLC. In this role, they supported the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Aberdeen Proving Ground Department of Public Works on Defense Base Closure and Realignment projects. Joel inspected placement and compaction methods of asphalt, soil, aggregate and soil cement, and ensured construction materials were compliant with ASTM Standards. Joel also field tested and monitored construction materials, and advised project managers and project engineers on a daily basis. In 2011, Joel H. became an Apprentice/Journeyman Electrician for Benfield Electric Company, Inc. Joel then moved on to Allied Well Drilling in 2015, where they worked as a Geothermal Installer. Most recently, they have been an Automation Engineer for Applied Manufacturing Technologies since 2017.
