Raul Contreras

Raul Contreras has been working as a Controls Engineer since 2022 at Applied Manufacturing Technologies. Prior to this, they worked at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing from 2015 to 2022, where they held the role of Sr Controls Engineer and Controls Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for the development and implementation of new equipment into production lines, as well as the continuous process optimization of cycle time, downtime, OEE & FTQ increments. Raul also provided support and assistance to the maintenance team in troubleshooting difficult breakdowns and chronic equipment failures.

Raul Contreras received their degree in Ingenieria Electromecánica from Instituto Tecnologico Leon in 2015, with a field of study in Automatización y Control. In April 2022, they obtained the Global Common Controls Hardware (GCCH-1) certification from Macomb Community College.
