Don Phipps

Don Phipps began their career in 1983 as a Sales Director at Data Signal, Inc. Don then moved to Kenwood USA in 1986, where they served as a Marketing Manager. In 1989, they took on the same role at Allied Signal - Bendix/King. In 1992, Don became the Sales Director at Sprint. In 1993, they founded Applied Marketing Research, Inc. and is currently the CEO of the full service marketing research firm.

Don Phipps received their MBA from the University of Kansas Graduate School of Business in 1993, with a focus in Business Administration and Marketing. Don also holds a B.S. in Journalism from Boston University, which they earned in 1980. In 2017, they completed a Certificate in The Proven 8-Step Formula To Successful Content Marketing from Digital Summit. In 2009, they received a Certification in Qualitative Projective Techniques from Sharpen the Focus Institute. In 2000, they were Certified as a Focus Group Director from the Greeley Institute. Don Phipps' educational history also includes two high school experiences: Wolfson High School from 1971-1972 and Nile C. Kinnick Yokohama High School from 1968-1971.
