Ishaan Virani

Ishaan Virani is a skilled engineering professional with a strong background in materials science and customer engineering. Currently serving as a Customer Engineering Manager at Applied Materials, Ishaan oversees the TSMC account and CVD module since July 2025. Prior roles include Field Support Engineering Manager at KLA, where management of a team focusing on metrology and reticle inspection products took place, and various positions at Applied Materials, including Technical Lead and Process Support Engineer. Ishaan has proven expertise in Chemical-Mechanical Planarization (CMP) processes and successful project management, coupled with experience in research and teaching roles at multiple institutions, including the University of Washington and Universiti Sains Malaysia. Ishaan holds a Master's degree in Materials Science from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal.
