Jeong Jin Hong

Jeong Jin Hong, Ph.D., is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in algorithm development and data science. Currently serving as Director of Algorithm Development and previously as Manager and Data Scientist at Applied Materials, both in the global and Korean branches, Jeong has demonstrated leadership in data-driven innovation. Prior roles include Principal Engineer and Senior Engineer at Samsung Display, where significant contributions were made to engineering projects. Jeong began an academic journey at Newcastle University, completing a PhD in Chemical Engineering and an MSc with Distinction in Applied Process Control, also contributing as a Student Researcher for Master and PhD Research Projects with Syngenta during this time.
