Jonathan Orsborn

Jonathan Orsborn, Ph.D., is a Laboratory Operations Manager at Applied Materials since June 2022, with prior experience as a Researcher at Los Alamos National Laboratory and a Senior Engineer at Seagate Technology, focusing on failure analysis and characterization techniques. Jonathan has also served as an Application Scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where responsibilities included developing imaging procedures and live demonstrations for customers in the semiconductor industry, and as a Research Engineer at the Center for Electron Microscopy and Analysis, where imaging and procedure development was emphasized. Jonathan's academic foundation is built on a Ph.D. in Materials Science from The Ohio State University, where research focused on non-equilibrium phase transformations and microstructural characterization of titanium alloys.
