Junaid Ahmed

Junaid Ahmed began their work experience in 2004 at Lam Research in roles related to corporate and strategic marketing, as well as marketing and business development operations. Junaid then worked at Citi as a Sr. Associate Analyst from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they served as Vice President of Asset Management at Mubadala Development Company, focusing on corporate strategy and performance management for GLOBALFOUNDRIES. Junaid then joined GLOBALFOUNDRIES in 2012 as Director of Corporate Finance and later became Head of Global Business Finance. In 2014, they became the CFO of Microcontrollers BU at Freescale Semiconductor and led the integration of the BU into NXP. From 2016 to 2018, they held various finance leadership positions at NXP Semiconductors, including Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff to the CFO. Junaid then worked at Applied Materials from 2018 to 2022, where they held roles as Corporate Vice President of Corporate Planning, Finance, and Global General Procurement. Finally, since 2019 they have been involved in customer advisory boards at UiPath, Anaplan, and BlackLine.

Junaid Ahmed has an Executive Leadership Program from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Junaid also holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the same institution. Additionally, they have a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Rochester.
