Kostas Mallios has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Kostas is currently serving as the Corporate Vice President & General Manager of Applied AI at Applied Materials, where they focus on accelerating AI adoption through silicon design co-optimization (STCO) from Edge to Cloud. Prior to that, they held the role of Chief Business Officer & Chief Operating Officer at uBeam, where they aligned the product management, engineering, and market entry strategy for a wireless power technology company. Kostas was also the Business & Strategy Leader/Advisory Board Director at INNOETICS Text-to-Speech Technologies, leading the business transformation and sale of the company to Samsung Electronics.

Kostas Mallios has also held leadership roles in various other organizations. At Clipper Vacations, as CEO & Board Director, they led the company's new product vision and geographic expansion. Kostas served as Vice President at Intellectual Ventures, overseeing new IP-based businesses and leading the R&D/Innovation organization. At Microsoft Corporation, they held multiple positions including General Manager of Corporate R&D, Strategy, and Business Development, General Manager of the Rich Media Group/Rich Media Labs, and Director of Venture Integration.

Earlier in their career, Kostas Mallios worked at the University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School, where they were the Director of the Small Business Development Center, responsible for the direction and operation of a regional business consulting organization targeting small and medium-sized businesses.

Kostas Mallios has an MBA in Technology Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Kostas also holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from Siena College. Kostas is currently pursuing a Coaching for Inclusion Certification at the University of California, Berkeley, from the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute. Additionally, they have completed an Executive Program in Exponential Innovation at Singularity University.
