Lei Zhang

Lei Zhang is a Senior Process Engineer at Applied Materials, specializing in etch and epitaxy processes. They hold a PhD in Chemistry from Stony Brook University, where they also completed a Master's degree and served as a Graduate Research Assistant in both the university's chemistry department and at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Previously, as a Technology Commercialization Trainee at the New York State Center for Biotechnology, they focused on intellectual property and market analysis for biotech products. Additionally, Lei has experience as a Teaching Assistant, mentoring over 200 undergraduate students in various chemistry laboratories.
