Lior Engel

Lior Engel is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as Vice President and GM of Process Optimization and Control & Group Marketing IPC at Applied Materials since September 1996. Engel has led multiple roles, including Vice President of Group Marketing IPC - Imaging and Process Control and Managing Director of Strategic Marketing PDC, overseeing product lines that generate approximately $500M in revenue. A relocation to Silicon Valley in August 2012 marked a strategic career advancement. Prior to joining Applied Materials, Engel was a Wafer Inspection Application Engineer at Orbot Instruments and a Process Engineer at Intel Corporation. Lior Engel holds an MBA in Marketing from Boston University, an MSc in Physics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a BSc in Physics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
