Nathan Zhang

Nathan Zhang is the Managing Director and Head of IP and Commercial Litigation at Applied Materials. They previously held the role of Senior Director, Global Litigation, Investigations & IP Protection at the same company from 2022 to 2025, following a tenure as Counsel in the same department. Prior to their work at Applied Materials, Nathan was an Associate at White & Case LLP, where they focused on Intellectual Property Litigation and Patent Prosecution from 2013 to 2018. Nathan began their career in the technology sector as a Hardware Engineer at NVIDIA from 2008 to 2010 and completed their legal education at the University of California, Davis - School of Law, earning a J.D. with honors in 2013. They obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2008.
