Mohamed Ali has a diverse and extensive work experience. mohamed started their career at GE Global Research as a Research Engineer, where they contributed to the design and optimization of various GE products. mohamed also played a significant role in establishing the Bangalore Engineering Center. Later, Mohamed became an Engineering Manager at GE Global Research, leading the evaluation and deployment of e-BOM tools and the development of e-Business based design for six-sigma, lean, and design productivity tools across GE. mohamed then took on the role of a Master Black Belt, leading the development of GE's first tuned gas turbine combustion nozzles and participating in the development of design for six-sigma training materials.

After their time at GE Global Research, Mohamed joined GE Oil & Gas as a Business Program Manager, overseeing the successful introduction of the world's first sour gas magnetic bearing on an offshore platform. mohamed then became the General Manager, leading a large organization dedicated to new products and technologies. During their tenure, they successfully developed and introduced innovative products, such as GE O&G power density compressors and Vetco-Gray's full-bore well-head system.

Currently, Mohamed is working at GE Aerospace, where they have held several leadership roles. mohamed first joined as an Engineering Executive, leading the successful introduction of the CF6 performance improvement program. mohamed then progressed to become an Engineering Senior Executive, responsible for the development of aircraft engine analytics and the modernization of Aviation Services fleet modeling philosophy. Mohamed further advanced their career within the company, serving as the VP of Services Engineering and now as the Vice President of Engineering.

Mohamed Ali obtained a Ph.D. degree in Engineering from Cornell University, specializing in theoretical and applied mechanics, computer science, and civil engineering. This educational achievement took place from 1994 to 1997.
