Saiprasanna Gnanavelu

Saiprasanna Gnanavelu has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 1999, they worked as a Process Engineer at MicroE Systems until 2001. Saiprasanna then joined Novellus Systems Inc as a Process Engineer Sr. from 2001 to 2010. In 2010, Saiprasanna joined Advantest as an Electrodeposition Group Manager until 2012, during which they developed advanced probecards for testing DRAM and Flash memory on 12" wafers. Since 2012, Saiprasanna has been with Applied Materials, where they started as a Principal Technologist from 2012 to 2014. Saiprasanna then served as a Global Product Manager from 2014 to 2016, followed by a role as a Business Manager from 2016 to 2018. Currently, Saiprasanna holds the position of Director, Business Management at Applied Materials, starting in December 2018.

Saiprasanna Gnanavelu completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras in the years 1993 to 1997. Later, they pursued a Masters degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering at Louisiana Tech University from 1997 to 1999.
