Wei Dou

Wei Dou is a Senior Process Engineer at Applied Materials since July 2018, specializing in material deposition techniques such as PVD and CVD/ALD for advanced logic and memory devices, as well as optical devices. Previous experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant role at the University of Arkansas, focusing on epitaxy of Si-based materials for optoelectronic devices, and another Graduate Research Assistant position at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, where Wei Dou built equipment for ion implantation and plasma etching processes. Initial experience as a Junior Design Engineer at Shandong Synthesis Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. involved PCB design and programming. Wei Dou holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Arkansas, a Master's degree from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Shandong University.
