Yu Liu

Yu Liu is a seasoned professional in product line management for semiconductor equipment, with extensive experience in process integration and development for medical devices. They served as a Senior Process Integration Engineer at Roche from 2019 to 2022, where they developed and validated process flows. Prior to that, Yu led a PVD team at Global Solar Energy, bringing up deposition tools at customer facilities. Currently, they work as a Senior Manager at Applied Materials, focusing on gross margin improvement, supply chain oversight, and product line management. Yu holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, as well as a Master’s degree in Material Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China.
