Zhepeng Cong

Zhepeng Cong currently serves as the Head of Product Technology at Applied Materials, a position held since January 1996, focusing on process and product development for both existing and upcoming applications within the Epitaxy Business Unit. Previously, Zhepeng held the role of Head of Disruptive Technology Group, where the development of Epitaxy charmer architectures and sensors was prioritized, alongside a hybrid engineering team. Zhepeng also served as Director of Process Engineering, concentrating on core technology and productivity. Earlier in the career at Intellemetrics Global Ltd, Zhepeng worked as a Research and Development Engineer from November 1990 to January 1996, with a diverse range of roles including Manager of Account Technologist and Process Technologist, Senior Member of Technical Staff, as well as Implant TPS & KAT.
