Gulshan (Gil) Dhawan

Gulshan (Gil) Dhawan, Ph.D. has a strong background in Reverse Osmosis Systems and waste water treatment. Gulshan (Gil) started their career in 1973 as a Business Development Manager at Electrohome Ltd., where they developed and managed the development of new Reverse Osmosis membranes and applications for waste water treatment. Gulshan (Gil) then moved to Fluid Systems Division in 1980, where they served as the Head of Sales and Marketing, with worldwide responsibility to sell Reverse Osmosis Systems and develop markets for various applications. In 1983, they founded Applied Membranes Inc, where they currently serve as the Founder and CEO. Throughout their career, they have played a key role in the development and growth of Reverse Osmosis Systems and waste water treatment technologies.

Gulshan (Gil) Dhawan, Ph.D. pursued their undergraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. Gulshan (Gil) then went on to further their education at the University of Waterloo, obtaining a Ph.D. and a Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) degree, both in Chemical Engineering.
