Joseph Marroquin

Joseph Marroquin has over 18 years of work experience, beginning in 2001 with the United States Air Force (USAF). In this role, they served as Chief, Network Operations. In 2004, they moved to the United States Military Training Mission as Executive Officer. The following year, they returned to the USAF as Chief, Combined Air and Space Operations Center. In 2009, they accepted a position as Chief, Transportation Division at the Military Postal Service Agency. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at NORAD USNORTHCOM as Chief, Cyber Systems Incident Response/Forensics Team. Joseph then returned to the USAF as Chief Cyberspace Systems Support until 2017 when they joined Engility Corporation as Network/Systems Analyst. Since 2018, they have been employed at Applied Network Solutions Inc. as a Cyber Security Analyst.

Joseph Marroquin's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi between 1990 and 1992, and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Colorado Technical University between 2007 and 2008. Joseph has also attended the Joint Forces Staff College, Air War College, Air Command and Staff College, and Squadron Officer School, though no degree was obtained. In addition, they hold certifications in Cybersec First Responder (Logical Operations, 2016), CISSP (ISC², 2020), C|EH (EC-Council, 2019), GCFA (GIAC Certifications, 2018), GCIH (GIAC Certifications, 2015), and Security+ (CompTIA, 2014).
