Arturo Espinoza Luque, P.E., is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in pavement technology and civil engineering. Currently serving as an Engineering Associate at Applied Pavement Technology, Inc. since June 2018, Arturo leads significant research and rehabilitation projects for the Illinois Department of Transportation and the City of Urbana. Prior roles include Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where Arturo focused on hot-mix performance testing, and Operations Manager at Grupo Cadena, overseeing substantial federal highway projects in Baja California, Mexico. Academic accomplishments include a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering - Transportation from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey and Politecnico di Milano. Arturo has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and has contributed to various engineering projects throughout a diverse career.
