Tanvir Quasem

Tanvir Quasem is an Engineering Associate at Applied Pavement Technology, Inc, with a focus on pavement design and analysis since June 2022. Previously, Tanvir served as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Akron from May 2014 to August 2022, specializing in flexible pavement design and traffic data analysis. Prior experience includes working as a Structural Engineer at Environ Structure Ltd from January 2010 to July 2013, where Tanvir managed design, detailing, and rehabilitation projects for reinforced concrete buildings, alongside cost and quantity analysis. Tanvir holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering from The University of Akron, awarded in March 2022, a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the same institution (2014 - 2016), and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (2004 - 2009).
