Martin Textor

Martin Textor is a highly skilled professional in the field of molecular biophysics, with a strong background in both research and application support. Currently serving as a Product and Development Applications Specialist at Applied Photophysics since May 2017, Martin also has experience as a Sales Support Application Scientist. Prior to this role, Martin worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the INM-Leibniz Institute for New Materials and conducted research as a Research Assistant at the University of Kaiserslautern, contributing to the preparation of peer-reviewed publications and the conceptual design of a molecular visualization workshop. Martin earned a PhD from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, focusing on membrane topology, and holds degrees in Biology and Molecular Biology from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Early research experience includes an internship at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, analyzing potassium ion transport across lipid membranes.
