Luke Sellers

Advanced Propulsion Laboratory: Research Physicist at Applied Physics

Luke Sellers is a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Research Physicist at the Advanced Propulsion Laboratory, Applied Physics. With experience as a Research Assistant in the Eardley Group at UCSB Department of Physics, Luke specializes in superradiant black hole systems and their implications for general relativity and particle physics using analytical and numerical methods. Additionally, Luke has contributed as a Physics Study Room Fellow and Learning Assistant, supporting students in their physics courses. Earlier work included research in quantum many-body systems at UCSB Department of Mathematics, focusing on computational physics and numerical simulations. Luke holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from UC Santa Barbara and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics at UCLA.
