Mark Smith is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership. Currently a Principal Engineer at Applied Signal Technology since 2008, Mark has previously held significant roles at Infineon Technologies as a Systems Software Engineer, Texas Instruments as a Senior Software Engineer, and Verilink as a Principal Engineer. Noteworthy achievements include leading the development of Linux-based platforms for DSL routers and multi-service Integrated Access Devices (IAD). Mark's career began at Vina Technologies, where contributions included managing software teams and overseeing the complete software development lifecycle. Mark holds an MS in Computer Science and a BS in Chemical Engineering, both from San Jose State University.
