David Gerlach

David Gerlach is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in information security and data protection. Currently serving as Vice President and Information Security & Data Protection Officer at Applied Systems since November 2013, David plans, develops, and manages the organization's information security program while directing a team focused on threat intelligence, event management, and incident response. Prior to this role, David held the position of Senior Manager for Threat Intelligence and Monitoring at Deloitte from April 2013 to November 2013 and served as Information Security Officer at Assurant from March 2006 to April 2013. David holds a Master of Science degree in Information Security and Assurance from Norwich University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communication from Western Michigan University.
