Michael Moniz is a seasoned product designer focused on generative AI, currently serving as a Sr. Product Designer at Applied Systems since June 2025. Prior to this role, Michael founded CALIBER Design in April 2020, where as Principal Product Designer, expertise in user experience (UX) leadership drove the creation of human-centered digital experiences for small businesses. From August 2021 to June 2025, Michael led the product design for Crave, Canada’s largest streaming service, utilizing human-centered design principles to align cross-functional teams. Michael also founded CALIBER Swimwear, a successful men’s eCommerce brand, applying data-driven UX strategies to enhance customer journeys. Earlier experience includes a lengthy tenure as a Business Class Flight Attendant at Air Canada, where Michael excelled in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining safety standards. Michael holds a Google UX Design Professional Certificate from Coursera.
