Erin Riglin is an engineer and computational journalist. He was the Wall Street Journal's first Automation Editor where he built machine learning-driven tools to support research and investigative journalism. Prior to that, he worked at Microsoft on data automation and cloud computing projects. Erin holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic University, Pomona, and Master's degrees in Journalism and Computer Science from Columbia University.
