Alona Katz

Alona Katz has a comprehensive work experience spanning over two decades. Alona currently holds the position of Product Manager at Applitools, starting in 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Aternity from 2015 to 2021, where they served as Sr. Product Owner and later as Server Release Lead. At Aternity, Alona collaborated with engineering teams, refined requirements, defined business cases, and prioritized the Team Backlog. Alona also conducted user experience analysis and design sprints.

From 2005 to 2015, Alona worked at CA Technologies in various roles. Alona was the Director of Quality Assurance, overseeing the quality assurance process for Role and compliance/Identity Manager products. In addition, they managed the QA organization in Israel and remotely managed Automation engineers in ITC. Alona also worked as a QA/Automation Manager, responsible for testing and automation activities for Identity Manager and engaging in test methodology formulation.

Before joining CA Technologies, Alona was a Sr. QA Engineer at Netegrity (acquired by CA) from 2004 to 2005. Alona conducted cross-platform testing throughout the product development life cycle and improved test plans and documentation. Prior to that, they worked as a QA Engineer at Business layers from 2002 to 2004.

Alona began their career in 2001 as a System Engineer at Paradigm, where they wrote scripts, developed interfaces, and handled software installation and packaging.

Overall, Alona Katz has a diverse range of experience in product management, quality assurance, automation, testing, and system engineering.

Alona Katz completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo, from 1999 to 2002. Prior to this, they studied C programming, SQL, and PL/SQL - Oracle DBA at Oxford House College in London from 1998 to 1999. Alona also obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from ScrumAlliance in January 2011.
