Jan Jelschen is a seasoned software architect and engineer with extensive experience in software development and IT consulting. Currently at apploft. GmbH since February 2020, Jan has held roles as both a software architect and senior software engineer. Prior experience includes a position as a software engineer and IT consultant at itemis from August 2017 to October 2019, and work as a graduate research assistant at Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg where notable projects included developing a software platform for novel mobility services and conducting research on energy code smells for Android apps. Academic qualifications include a doctorate in Software Engineering and a Master of Science in Computer Science, both from Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg, complementing a Bachelor of Science in the same field. Jan has also contributed to education through various teaching assistant roles at the university.
