Sandun Chamara Sooriyabandara has over 12 years of experience in the finance and accounting sector. Sandun Chamara began their career in 2009 as a Senior Auditor at V.S. & Associates. In 2013, they moved to DSI Group as an Accounts Executive. In 2018, they joined Applova Inc. USA as a Financial Accountant. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed Assistant Manager Finance at Applova Inc.

Sandun Chamara Sooriyabandara's education history began in 2003 when they attended Mahanama College Col. 03. Sandun Chamara then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Accounting Special from the University of Colombo between 2006 and 2010. Finally, they became an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka in Accounting and Finance from 2010 to 2017.
