Bhanu Prakash Samala

Bhanu Prakash Samala is a seasoned CFD Engineer at Applus+ IDIADA since April 2018, specializing in artificial intelligence and machine learning for real-time CFD optimization in automotive product development. Previously, Bhanu served as an Adjunct Lecturer at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, teaching undergraduate courses in Aerospace Engineering. Prior experience includes a Pre Doctoral Fellowship at the same university, focusing on active flow control technologies and developing an open-source CFD framework with OpenFOAM. Bhanu's internship at Weir Power & Industrial involved lean manufacturing practices in the valve manufacturing sector. Bhanu is currently pursuing a PhD in Aerospace Science and Technology with a specialization in Computational Fluid Dynamics, building on a Master's degree from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
