Fernando Silvestre

Fernando Silvestre is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering management across various sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director and Engineering Manager at Applus+ IDIADA since August 2011, Fernando oversees the Engineering Department for the Local Business Unit in Brazil, leading a team of over 100 professionals in CAD/CAE, Durability, Brakes, Passive Safety, and Powertrain areas for global projects. Previous roles include Project Leader at CAF, where management of a EUR 600 million train project was achieved, and Project Supervisor at Goodyear, where oversight of a $14 million budget was maintained while managing 14 engineers and multiple third-party companies.
