Mauricio Vargas

Mauricio Vargas is an accomplished Infrastructure & DevOps Manager at ApplyBoard, where since May 2020, leadership has focused on cloud management and optimizing multi-million dollar cloud expenditures, alongside overseeing security operations and engineering financial strategies. Previously, at D2L from October 2013 to May 2020, significant contributions included leading the migration of the Brightspace LMS to AWS and ensuring high availability across various infrastructure setups. Earlier roles include serving as a SaaS NOC Administrator, maintaining exceptional uptime in a multi-tenant SaaS environment, a Help Desk Technologist at Autodata Solutions, and customer-facing positions at Best Buy Canada and Probart Mazda. Mauricio holds a degree in Computer Systems Technology from Fanshawe College, earned between 2009 and 2012.
