Sophie Yao

Sophie Yao, CPA, has over six years of diverse experience in accounting and finance, currently serving as Revenue Manager at Appnovation since September 2021. Prior to this role, Sophie was with KPMG Canada for nearly four years, progressing from Staff Accountant to Senior Accountant. Additional experience includes positions as a Financial Assistant at Canucks Sports & Entertainment and Transport Canada, along with a role as a Teaching Assistant at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University. Sophie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours in Accounting and Human Resources Management from the Beedie School of Business and completed CPA Canada certification between 2017 and 2020.
