Mark Burton

Mark Burton is an Advisor and Independent Board Member to several high-growth, venture-backed software and services companies. He currently serves on the Board of MuleSoft, Datameer, Zend Technologies (Executive Chairman), and Infobright. In addition to advising Apprenda, Mark is actively advising Upthere. Mark previously was a Board Member of Jaspersoft (acquired by TIBCO - May 2014). Among other significant career-defining accomplishments, he served as the executive vice president of worldwide sales and alliances at MySQL, where he built a worldwide sales team and sustained rapid growth leading to the company’s $1 billion acquisition by Sun Microsystems as well senior vice president of Americas Sales and Worldwide Alliances at Informatica while they grew from $10-160m in sales and became a successful public company.
