Paul Gannon has a diverse range of work experience in various roles related to apprenticeship support, business development, mentoring, and trade facilitation. Paul started their career in 2006 as a Trade Facilitator at Silvertrowel and later worked as a Trade Facilitator at Australian Trades College. Paul was responsible for trade training of apprentices, developing integrated programs, and mentoring students/apprentices. In 2009, they joined ATC Group Training as a Field Officer, where they handled the recruitment, selection, mentoring, and monitoring of apprentices. Paul also had a business development component in their role. In 2010, they worked as a Consultant at Stanley College, developing a training and assessment strategy for three trades. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Housing Industry Association in multiple roles, including Business Development Representative, Apprentice Field Officer, and Apprentice Mentor Officer. Currently, they are employed at Apprenticeship Support Australia as a Mentor Support Officer.

From 2010 to 2010, they attended Polytechnic West and obtained a Trade certificate in Brickwork, specializing in Bricklaying.

In 2009, they enrolled in Crossbow consultancy and completed a Cert 1V Training and Assessment program.

Between 1999 and 2000, they pursued Advanced certificate in engineering at Challenger Tafe Fremantle.

Starting in 1984 and graduating in 1987, they studied at Brooklyn Technical College, where they earned a City and Guilds trade certificate in brickwork.
