Peter Gilchrist

Peter Gilchrist is an experienced professional in the education and training sector, currently serving as the Executive Director of Business NSW since October 2021 and as General Manager of Apprenticeship Support Australia since April 2017. Previously, Peter held key roles including Principal Consultant at Rebel Ed, Director at Community Colleges Australia, and Manager of Training Services at VERTO, where the organization won the 2015 NSW and Australian Large Training Provider of the Year award. Peter's career began as the Australian Apprenticeships Centre Manager at Central West Community College. Peter holds a Bachelor's Degree in Adult Learning and Development from Monash University and multiple qualifications in training, assessment, management, and mechanical engineering.
