Peter Rickard

Peter Rickard is an experienced regional manager with a strong background in promoting vocational education and training in Western New South Wales. Since 2001, Peter has held the position of Regional Manager at both Apprenticeship Support Australia and the Australian Business Apprenticeships Centre, focusing on the administration of the Australian Traineeship and Apprenticeship System. Prior to these roles, Peter served as Regional Manager at North Coast TAFE, managing the Djigay Centre of Excellence in Aboriginal Education and overseeing vocational programs for Indigenous students from 1994 to 2001. Additionally, Peter was the Managing Director of Self Sufficiency Supplies Pty Ltd from 1990 to 1996, where responsibilities included managing retail, wholesale, and manufacturing operations. Peter's educational background includes a degree from the University of Newcastle and completion of HSC studies in Economics at Newcastle Boys High School.
