Jessy van der Bogt

Jessy van der Bogt is an experienced urban planning and environmental advisor currently working at DCMR Milieudienst Rijnmond, providing guidance to local and regional governments, including the Municipality of Rotterdam, on the environmental facets of spatial planning. Additionally, Jessy serves as a Dutch tutor with Apprentus, assisting young professionals with the Dutch language. Previous roles include an environmental urban planner at YER, a student assistant in the Faculty of Geosciences at Universiteit Utrecht, and a junior consultant for sustainable living at Klimaatroute. Educational background includes a Master’s in Human Geography focusing on Urban Geography from Utrecht University and a Bachelor’s in Human Geography and Urban Planning from the University of Amsterdam, complemented by a global exchange program at Universidad de Costa Rica.
