Iftekhar Salim is a seasoned executive in the financial services sector, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Appro.ae since March 2022, where the focus is on streamlining retail banking onboarding processes. Prior to this, Iftekhar held significant leadership roles at Standard Chartered Bank, including Venture Lead at SC Ventures and Head of Retail Lending Operations & Credit Risk Operations. With extensive experience in process reengineering and operations management across the Middle East and Africa, Iftekhar has been instrumental in optimizing decision engines and enhancing customer experience throughout various roles. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance from North South University and multiple executive programs from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business School and MIT.
