David Vanderoost has a strong background in IT and consulting with over 10 years of experience. David started their career as a Management Consultant at KPMG in 2002 and then moved on to work as an Information Security Consultant at Telindus Belgacom ICT in 2004. David joined Carrefour Group Belgium in 2006 as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer before transitioning to Accenture in 2008 as a Manager in IT Strategy & Transformation. In 2009, they joined Kurt Salmon, which later became part of Accenture Strategy, where they worked as Manager - CIO Advisory. In 2011, they became the COO at Approach Cyber and also served as a Board Member. In 2015, they took on the role of CEO at Approach Cyber and also served as the CEO of ATLAS Assignment Manager. During their time at ATLAS, the company's Global Mobility management solution became a licensed HR software product of APPROACH BELGIUM. David continued as CEO until December 2016.
David Vanderoost holds a Master Degree in Engineering specializing in Electromechanics - mechatronics from the Université catholique de Louvain, which they completed from 1996 to 2002. In 2006, they pursued a Postgraduate degree in Executive Programme in ICT Audit & Security from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. Additionally, David has obtained certifications such as CISA (certified Information Systems Auditor) from ISACA in 2005, ISO27001 Lead Auditor from BSI in 2003, and ITIL Foundation from EXIN your ICT competence partner in 2003.
