Nicolas Verhoeven is an experienced Information Security Officer and Senior GRC Consultant with a comprehensive background in IT management, security audits, and project coordination. Currently employed at Approach Belgium since November 2019, Nicolas specializes in information security within the retail sector, focusing on risk analysis, GDPR compliance, and collaboration with legal teams on security contracts. Prior roles held at USG People Belgium NV from September 2015 to October 2019 include Information Security & Technology Architect and Coördinator Engineering & Projects, where Nicolas successfully managed operational risks, aligned resources, and prepared for ISO27001 certification. Earlier experience spans various positions in IT consulting and system engineering, demonstrating a strong foundation in infrastructure projects, IT security, and team leadership.
