Matt Haller

Matt Haller has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Matt started their career at Intel Corporation in 1979, where they held the position of Director in the Mobile Products Group. During their time at Intel, they assembled a global team and designed Intel's global mobile platform technology standards program with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) worldwide. In 2007, they moved on to Vital Technical Marketing as the Vice President and Senior Consultant, where they co-directed Commercial Properties Development and established a safety certification process for imported restaurant equipment with Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and ETL.

In 2009, Matt Haller became the owner of Apizza Passion, a failing restaurant. Through rent negotiations, doubling the floor space, and repositioning the product, they managed to achieve a 25% annual growth. Their next venture was with Boy Scouts of America, where they became an Executive Board and Cabinet Member in 2011. In this role, they focused on nonprofit marketing and business development, leading the revamping and revitalizing of the Friends Of Scouting donation program, which accounted for 25% of the Council operating budget.

Simultaneously, in 2011, Matt Haller also joined Portland Opera, where they became a member of the Board of Directors. Matt contributed to nonprofit marketing and business development efforts and served on the Governance Committee in 2016. Most recently, in 2019, they took on the role of VP Marketing, PR, Sales at CriticalBlue.

Matt Haller obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Portland State University, where they studied between 1973 and 1978. Following this, they pursued a Master's in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management from 1982 to 1984. No specific field of study was provided for either degree.
