Imad Alam

Imad Alam has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Imad started their career as a Systems Analyst at AIR MILES in 1996. Imad then worked at Inkfish Call Centres Limited as an IT Manager and was later promoted to IT Director, where they established a successful IT department. Imad also played a crucial role in the acquisition of Inkfish by Domestic & General.

In 2002, Imad joined Domestic & General as the Group Technical Telephony Manager. During their four-year tenure, they managed a team responsible for software development, systems administration, and desktop support.

In 2007, Imad joined GSK as a Project Manager. Imad led a high-profile project to centralize the Switchboard call handling service across multiple sites, including the global headquarters. This involved implementing new infrastructure, network design changes, and integration with legacy systems.

In 2008, Imad worked as a Project Manager at ProtoCall One and later joined Capgemini, where they were assigned to the Aspire contract providing IT services for HMRC. Imad'sresponsibilities included managing technical resources, forecasting, reporting, risk management, and overseeing the full lifecycle of projects. Imad Alam's education history begins with their enrollment at Chesterfield Boys School from 1985 to 1990. During this time, they pursued GCSE and A Level qualifications in various subjects. Following this, Imad attended Salford University from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained a Bsc(Hons) degree in Information Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Imad has gained several certifications throughout their career. In 2008, they achieved the Prince2 Practitioner certification, demonstrating their proficiency in project management. More recently, in 2019, Imad earned the Google Cloud Platform Sales Credential and the Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure certification, which demonstrate their expertise in Google's cloud technologies. Imad also attained the Google Cloud Sales Credential in the same year.

Most recently, in August 2022, Imad obtained the Cloud Digital Leader certification offered by Google, showcasing their leadership abilities in the field of cloud computing.
