Matt Penton

Matt Penton has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Matt started their career in 1996 as a Lotus Notes Developer at QED Computer Services Limited & QED Advanced Services Limited. Matt then moved on to work as an IT Manager at Saracen Gas Limited / The Gas Company from 1997 to 2001. After that, they became a Director at Merchant Technology Limited, where they played a key role in developing and deploying expert systems across various sectors of business. In 2010, Matt joined InfoSys Limited as a Lotus Notes Developer, where they supported and delivered IBM Lotus Notes client and web-based solutions for clients. In 2011, they became a Director at TD Group Limited, where they served as the Technical Director of the recruitment and service resourcing company. During their tenure, they successfully increased the operational turnover to 2.75 million and oversaw various notable project works. In 2017, they took on the role of Founder at The CV Ninja, a specialized team of CV writers, recruitment consultants, and career coaches. Finally, in the same year, they joined Appsbroker Ltd as the Head of Data & Analytics.

Matt Penton has an education history that includes two degree programs. From 1992 to 1994, they attended the University of the West of England and obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Decision Analysis. Following that, from 1994 to 1996, they continued their studies at the University of the West of England and earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Applied Statistics.

In addition to their formal education, Matt Penton has obtained several certifications. In December 2017, they completed the "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" course on Coursera. Matt also completed the "Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals" course on Coursera in the same month. In January 2018, they obtained the certification for "Introduction to R Course" from DataCamp, as well as the certification for "Intermediate R Programming" from the same institution. In March 2018, they completed the "Google Cloud Conversations 1" and "Google Cloud Conversations 2" certifications offered by Google. More recently, in September 2018, they obtained the certification for "Google Analytics for Beginners" from Google Analytics Academy. Their most recent certification was the "Introduction to PSO Consulting Services" from Google, which they obtained in January 2019.
