Graziano Obertelli

Graziano Obertelli is the Vice President of Operations at AppScale Systems. Graziano is responsible for implementing the policies and strategies identified by AppScale the executive team. In particular, they lead and supports the Engineering Team.

Prior to their current role, Obertelli served as the Director of Customer Success at Eucalyptus Systems Inc. where they were tasked with defining and documenting processes and procedures to help customers successfully deploy private clouds into production. Graziano also served as an escalation engineer and escalation manager, providing technical assistance and guidance to CS managers during the definition and documentation of new processes.

Obertelli has over 12 years of experience in the tech industry and holds a degree in computer science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Graziano Obertelli studied computer science at Università degli Studi di Milano from 1988 to 1993 and graduated with honors in Scienze dell'Informazione. Graziano'sfocus was on Common Knowledge, Fault Tolerance, and Distributed Systems.
