Carolyn Voelkening

Carolyn Voelkening is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital strategy and content management. Currently serving as SVP of Service Delivery and previously as Chief Content Officer and Chief Content & Customer Success Officer at Appspace since November 2019, Carolyn has demonstrated leadership in service delivery and content strategy. Prior to this, Carolyn held the positions of Chief Content Officer and Director of Content at The Marlin Company from January 2017 to November 2019. Carolyn's tenure at Record-Journal from November 2007 to December 2016 included roles such as Chief Innovation & Digital Officer, where responsibility encompassed developing digital strategies that enhanced audience engagement and revenue, as well as Managing Editor for Online/Weeklies, focusing on digital product performance across multiple platforms. Educationally, Carolyn holds an MA in American Studies and a BA in Area Studies from Trinity College-Hartford.
